I’ve just seen that Martha Wells won the 2024 Locus Awards for both the Fantasy Novel and the Science Fiction Novel categories.
She won the Fantasy Novel award for ‘Witch King‘

I am! I’ve never been to a Worldcon before (where the Hugos are awarded), but I gather there’s a different host city each year. Glasgow was a chance I couldn’t pass up 🙂

I hope you enjoy it. I love seeing the people going to the Comicon events in Liverpool in full cosplay mode. I don’t suppose people wear costumes for Worldcon but I think it must be fun to see all those people who share a passion for science fiction and fantasy.
