“My Life As A White Trash Zombie” by Diana Rowland: becoming a zombie helps Angel get a life

“The Gospel of Loki” by Joanne M. Harris: not what I expected but well worth the read.

“The Wretched of Muirwood” by Jeff Wheeler – Well written Young Adult Sword and Sourcery novel that I couldn’t stay in sympathy with.

“The Windup Girl” by Paolo Bacigalupi: A good book made even better by great narration

“Iron Lake” by William Kent Krueger: Atmospheric, well plotted but slightly melodramatic
