Book Reviews

‘Winter Lost’ (2024) – Mercy Thompson #14 by Patricia Briggs, narrated by Lorelei King

‘Mortmain Hall’ (2020) – Rachel Savernake #2 by Martin Edwards, narrated by Leighton Pugh – deeply disappointing – I wish I’d set it aside at 50% rather than spending another five hours on it.

‘Gwendy’s Button Box’ (2017) by Stephen King and Richard Chizmar, narrated by Maggie Siff

‘IQ’ (2016) IQ #1 by Joe Ide, narrated by Sullivan Jones – Highly Recommended.

‘In My Dreams I Hold A Knife’ (2021) by Ashley Winstead – set aside at 50% because I can’t take the people any more.

‘The Nature Of Disappearing’ (2024) by Kimi Cunningham Grant – ARC review.

‘A Pocket Full Of Rye’ (1954) – Miss Marple #6 by Agatha Christie – fun read with a clever plot and some memorable people

A ‘Six Degrees Of Separation’ exercise, starting with ghosts in 80s Canada and ending with war in Nigeria 150 years from now.

‘You Like It Darker’ (2024) by Stephen King, narrated by Will Patton
