Speculative Fiction Reviews

The Ambassador’s Mission (Traitor Spy Trilogy, #1) by Trudi Canavan: disappointing read – none of the magic of “The Black Magician Trilogy”

“The Hunger Games” by Suzanne Collins – best science fiction I’ve read in a decade

“I Shall Wear Midnight” by Terry Pratchett – Tiffany grows up

“WWW : Wonder” by Robert J Sawyer: slightly disappointing ending to strong science fiction triology

“WWW : Watch” by Robert J Sawyer – a little more static than “Wake” but worth a read

“WWW : Wake” by Robert J. Sawyer – exciting and original science fiction

“The Magician’s Apprentice” by Trudi Canavan: stand-alone prequel to “The Magicians’ Guild”

“The Steel Remains – A Land Fit For Heroes Book1” by Richard Morgan: sword and sorcery for grown-ups -nasty, brutal and completely convincing

“I Am Number 4” by Pittacus Lore
