Dune Bibliomancy

Bibliomancy is a way of using books for divination. As part of the 24 Festive Tasks game I’m playing I was offered this bibliomancy task

Bibliomancy — ask an author! Pick out a book with at least 350 pages and answer the following question. Use the page and line numbers assigned to them to get your answer.

I picked Frank Herbert’s ‘Dune’ which I once saw as a source of much wisdom (Hey, ‘fear is the mind-killer’ sounded pretty profound when I was eighteen). Here’s what the book told me and what I think it means.

Have some fun. Find out your future. Try this at home.

Disclaimer the accuracy of the results is in the hands of the person asking the question. The book provides the text. You provide the meaning.
