‘Fugitive Telemetry’ – Murderbot Diaries #6 by Martha Wells

This was a fun novella to spend an afternoon with. The plot was interesting, the humour was dry and, as always, it was fun to watch Murderbot learn more about itself and find itself slowly making connections with other people, even when it could be watching media instead.

If this had been an episode of in the Murderbot TV series (HBO, Netflicks – what are you waiting for?) it would have been entertaining but not one of those that, at the end of the season, you’d go, ‘Oooh, do you remember the one where Murderbot…”.

I’m still a fan but I’m hoping the next episode has a little more oomph (that’s a technical term roughly equivalent to . ‘Yeah, I’m glad I didn’t miss out on that episode because…)
