The first call of Halloween Bingo was made today.

Appropriately enough, it was:

Which is on my card but isn’t one of the squares I’ve been reading for. Still, that’s better than a call that passes by my card altogether (which 60% of calls will) so I’m taking it as a good omen.

I’ve also read my first book, ‘The Thursday Murder Club’ which was a five star read and a wonderful and joyous start to the game.

I’ll write a review shortly.

In the meantime, as well as the two Kindle books I’d planned for this week, I’ve made a start on another audiobook, ‘The Devil You Know’, the first book in a series about Felix Castor, freelance exorcist.

I’d picked if for the ‘Highway To Hell’ square but as I read it, I realised it worked for other squares as well, so I decided to play my Double…
