Today, 21st December, is the shortest day of the year. For weeks now, I’ve been aware of darkenss seizing more and more of each day. Where I live, the sun won’t rise today until 08:13 and will set by 16:03.

Tomorrow a new solar cycle begins and the tide of darkness starts to ebb.

I wish all of you the gift of stepping out of the shadows this year has cast and embracing the hope the lengthening days offer.
