Solitude Rising: suddenly it’s fashionable to be an introvert

“Anger” a poem by Mike Finn

“The Wretched of Muirwood” by Jeff Wheeler – Well written Young Adult Sword and Sourcery novel that I couldn’t stay in sympathy with.

“The Windup Girl” by Paolo Bacigalupi: A good book made even better by great narration

Learning to Let Go and Leave the Monkey Traps Behind

“Iron Lake” by William Kent Krueger: Atmospheric, well plotted but slightly melodramatic

“This Case Is Gonna Kill Me” by Philippa Bornikova – Fun read from Chick-lit/Romance/Legal/Vampire mix

“Byzantium”and “Let The Right One In”: European Vampire movies confronting monstrosity

“So Sure Of Death” by Dana Stabenow: A fun read with two murder mysteries, character insights and rapid action
