“High Life” – a well-made and brilliantly acted Science Fiction movie I wish I hadn’t watched.
Film Reviews
“Greta” one of the best thrillers I’ve seen in years
“The Wife” strong script and great performances
“Leave No Trace” a quietly powerful film – highly recommended
“My Cousin Rachel” 2017- a disappointing movie that failed to thrill
“Gifted”
“The Longest Ride” : two love stories in one movie
“Ex-Machina”, “Passengers”, and Snowpiercer” – transgressive science fiction movies that move beyond the comfortable into darkness
“Three Seasons” or “Ba Mùa” by Tony Bui a beautiful movie about unpleasant things
