Bath in Tier 2 Lockdown: quietly festive

At 21.00 on a Sunday night in December, with the temperature at 4°C, and Tier 2 restrictions in place (social distancing, masks, no groups bigger than six, restaurants closing early and with social distancing rules, pubs also closing early and only opening if they serve meals) there weren’t many people on the streets of Bath.

Despite that, the city had a festive feel, helped along by new lights on ancient stone.
