I love audiobooks. They’re the main way that I read books these days. I have some great audiobooks lined up and ready to go. I’m even halfway through one of them. Yet suddenly:

I just can’t bring myself to put the earphones on.

Maybe it’s the heat.

Maybe it’s a highly selective reading slump.

Whatever it is, I’m going to go with it which means putting my current reading plans on hold and going to see what Kindle books are on my TBR pile (which, despite that being a high three-figure number, will probably mean that I buy some more ebooks. 

One upside – I can stop waiting patiently for the audiobook version of the last Sunshine Vicram book to come out and lose myself in the ebook version of A Hard Day For A Hangover by Darynda Jones.
